Our small batch Elderberry Jam takes you back to the days when Grandma handed you a basket and pointed you toward the hedgerow out back. Once a staple in old-world kitchens, elderberries are making a well-deserved comeback—for their bold flavor, deep color, and health properties.
These small, dark berries bloom in early to mid-summer and are harvested from July through
September across many regions in the United States. A member of the honeysuckle family, elderberries add a rich, fruity zing to both sweet and savory dishes.
Pair our small batch Elderberry Jam with venison, duck, or pork for a rustic glaze, slather it on muffins, or spoon it over tarts and crumbles. It’s the kind of taste you didn’t know you missed, until it came back in a jar.
